This Privacy Policy explains how The Augmented Dev ("the site," "we," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit theaugmenteddev.com. The site is operated by Rishi Verma as an independent technical blog.

We collect a small amount of information, only what is needed to operate the site:

• Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store the email address you provide. We use it only to send new posts. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
• Comments. If you leave a comment, we store the name and content you submit so it can be displayed on the page.
• Contact messages. If you send a message via the contact form, we store the name, email, and message you provide so we can reply.
• Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand which posts are read. These services collect information about your visit, including approximate location, device type, browser, and pages viewed.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and request paths, for operational and security purposes.

Newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Comments and contact messages are retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's defaults.
